How It All Began

​

For the past several years, I have been able to provide the ultimate prom experience for young ladies within the Baltimore area. It enables me to connect with them in a very special way. For some, it is the first time they've ever felt like a princess, been given advice on womanhood, discussed secondary education, and had the opportunity to be the center of attention. However, as one person I am limited on the lives I can impact. 

In 2017, I questioned how I can do for many what I usually do for one. As a result, I gathered friends, colleagues and associates to create Slay Day 2017. It's not about a night but an experience. We will provide prom attire, styling tips, make-up tutorials, and post graduation preparation information. More importantly, the opportunity to connect and provide a sense of community. 

It is very important to us that the participants get a once and a lifetime experience. This will not be a grab and run event. It is not  just a charity event; it is a community event. We look forward to the opportunity to interact, have a a great time, and watch our children SLAY!!!
